We Eat Responsibly! ready set to go…

Forty eight teachers from twenty seven different schools were actively engaged in training seminars as part of their participation in the EU funded project – We Eat Responsibly. During the seminars the teachers were updated on global food consumption issues and how these could be made relevant to local contexts. 47 schools receive international recognition for embedding Education for Sustainable Development principles in their school communities

The 6th June 2016 marked the EkoSkola and Leaf awards ceremony, students from 47 schools were awarded the prestigious international awards for their commitment in ensuring a good quality of life for all, in their respective school communities. Ten schools also received an international recognition for distinguishing themselves in the Learning about Forests programme (LEAF)- another international ESD eco-label actively engaging schools to unravel the key role forests play to sustain life on our planet....
