December 12, 2018

Nature Trust – FEE Malta, through the Eco-Schools programme, has once again for the second time running launched the Water Explorer programme following the great success obtained by Maltese schools on a global standard in the last scholastic year.

Water Explorer is a fun, action-oriented, international online programme that inspires thousands of students to become Water Explorers and lead action in their school communities on water issues. Students from six schools were present for the launch and info session held at the Għajn – Water Conservation Awareness Centre in Rabat, where they participated in hands-on interactive workshop sessions. Attendees were also adressed by Hon Joe Mizzi – Minister for Energy and Water Management; Mr Vincent Attard – CEO, Nature Trust FEE Malta and Ms Caroline Buhagiar Klass, Head of Human Resources at HSBC Malta.
The programme is locally financed by the HSBC Water Programme, the HSBC Malta Foundation and Catch the Drop Campaign in collaboration with the Energy and Water Agency which is funding school projects related to rain water harvesting and water reuse.
