Water Explore National TeamSeptember 5, 2018
A big well done to the Misty Team from Gozo College Middle School who were nominated National Water Explorer team after eight finalists schools showed what they had been working on all through the school year as regards water saving initiatives and awareness rasing in the limited time available during the National Malta Water Explorer Event held on Tuesday 3rd July. Six independent judges gave their scores to each school on six sets of criteria as set by Global Action Plan after they went through all the actions and initiatives taken by each school. On the day during the event the judges had the opportunity to meet the students and give an additional score. The totals were calculated on the spot and the top three ranking schools announced:
1st Gozo College Middle School
2nd St Clare College San Ġwann Primary School
3rd Laura Vicuna School
The other schools followed close by with only a couple of points difference. Well done to all schools! You are all winners!
St Margaret College Kalkara Primary School team was announce as National Water Explorer School for June and as Global School of the Week.

Gozo College Middle School, Water Explorer Team – Misty, will be representing Malta in London in October 2018 for the International Water Explorer Event.
