Healthy Eating Day

Our secondary school decided to hold a healthy eating day in which girls were provided with all sorts of healthy food.  They were given information about healthy diets and ways of life.  They were shown the difference eating healthy or unhealthy food made to their looks, figure and overall well being. As the young ladies in our senior schools get older they tend to start thinking more about their figure, however, they seem to find it difficult to do away with sweets and junk foods.  Our school decided to give these girls an exemplary day of eating where lots of different healthy foods were available for the girls to choose from.  The foods were also presented in different ways so as to show the students that they may like it if presented differently.  We can safely say it was a great success as the girls tried out the different foods, many of them new to them.  A good change from junk foods and sweets! Get those taste buds working! Girls helped to prepare the food and serve it out too. Mmmmm! What’s this? Do I prefer this to junk food? Must think of the future!!
